# Keepsprig Data Deletion

Keepsprig has no app account to delete. Local records, optional Drive copies, exported backups, and support messages must be handled separately.

## Delete a saved link

Delete the link from the library. If Drive sync is connected, deletion is carried to the selected library during a successful sync; concurrent changes may require review. An offline device or an old exported backup may still hold a copy. Archiving a link only changes its view and does not delete it.

## Clear downloaded previews

Use the preview settings to clear downloaded descriptions and thumbnails. Saved titles, URLs, and personal notes remain. Turning fetching Off stops new requests but does not clear existing preview content.

## Remove this device’s library

1. First export and verify an encrypted portable backup if you want to keep the library, and preserve its separate recovery key.
2. Close Keepsprig, then use Android Settings → Apps → Keepsprig → Storage to clear app data, or uninstall the app.
3. This removes the local vault and its access configuration. It does not delete a connected Drive library, another device’s data, or exported backup files.

## Google Drive data and authorization

Disconnecting Drive stops this installation’s sync binding but does not delete its local or remote library and does not revoke the Google permission grant. Revoke access separately in your Google account’s third-party connections settings.

The current build does not offer a verified remote-wipe action. Manage Keepsprig’s hidden app data through Google Drive’s application-management controls if you want to remove its remote storage; deleting recovery data can make the cloud copy unrecoverable. Other devices and exported backups remain separate copies.

## Backups, models, and support messages

Remove exported .keepsprig files and any copies of their keys from the places you saved or shared them. Local app deletion does not remove those files.

Turning off on-device AI cancels Keepsprig’s work but does not delete Google’s shared model or recall SDK diagnostics already processed. Model installation/removal is controlled by AICore. Contact bee n moss about support correspondence separately; no developer-hosted library account exists to erase.
