- **Search-first adding:** Search-first adding from a starter catalog, with custom items, categories, and photos.
- **One-tap check-off:** One-tap check-off with undo, grouped by category, with who added or bought each item.
- **Offline first:** Offline-first: every change is saved on the device first and synchronized in the background.
- **Free and Plus:** Free includes four created households with five members each. Plus offers unlimited created households, twenty members each, and ad removal; checkout is coming in a later release.
- **Simple sign-in:** Email sign-in, supported Google or Apple sign-in options, light and dark themes, and in-app account deletion.

## Principles

- **Offline first:** The list is always usable in the store, with or without a connection; syncing happens quietly afterwards.
- **Fast and calm:** Adding an item takes a few taps, checking one off takes one, and mistakes are undone rather than confirmed.
- **Shared on purpose:** Lists are shared with invited household members. Photos are accessible to anyone with their URL; ads stay outside the shopping flow.
