Can I download it yet?

Keepsprig is in Android development, with iOS planned later. There is no public store download or tester-enrolment link here. iOS currently has a scaffold; its native vault and share extension are not ready.

Save from another app

In an app that shares a web URL, tap Share and choose Keepsprig. Quick Save writes the capture and returns to the source app without opening your library. Unlock the main app to import captures and search them.

Turn on Settings → Saving → Ask before saving for the optional note/category sheet. Unlock to choose an existing category, or save without choosing one. Manual category choices take precedence over automatic rules. Keepsprig cannot retrieve private post content just because its URL was saved.

Find and organize

Search saved text, filter by source or category, sort the library, and add categories, notes, tags, favorites, or archives. Existing duplicate URLs keep their original notes and categories when imported through capture.

Why is a preview missing?

Some sites block metadata, require login, or make images unavailable. Keepsprig uses a source-card fallback rather than your social credentials. Open the original in its own app or browser.

In Settings → Previews, choose details-only, automatic after unlock, or Off. Clearing downloaded previews removes descriptions and thumbnails while keeping titles and personal notes. Turning previews off does not erase previously fetched data.

Categorization and AI

Local title rules and manual categories are available independently of AI. Check Settings → Categorization for device availability. On-device AI is optional, off initially, and may need a model download. It runs while unlocked, not as a locked background worker.

Manual categories and explicit Uncategorized remain in charge. AI does not reclassify the entire old library, and a model failure does not block saving. Broad device support and inference quality are still being evaluated; there is no automatic cloud fallback.

Sync and recovery

Google Drive sync is optional, manual, and requires unlock. Connect Google Drive in Settings → Sync & recovery, then review setup and any conflicting edits. Default recovery uses the same Google account; separate-key protection also needs its recovery secret.

Export a separate portable encrypted backup and preserve its independent key before clearing storage or changing devices. Sync is not an independent backup. Fresh-install recovery, account revocation, and broader device checks remain release work.
