Touch mode taps where you want to click; trackpad mode gives precise cursor control. Two-finger scroll with momentum, two-finger tap to right-click, and a magnifier while dragging.
Remote desktop
In development · iPad, iPhone, and Android
Your Mac, in your pocket.
A remote desktop app for iPad, iPhone, and Android that connects straight to the Screen Sharing built into macOS, at home over Wi-Fi or from anywhere with Tailscale. No accounts, no servers, and nothing to install on the Mac.

Built for
Use the Mac’s apps and files from the sofa or from across the world, on a big touch screen.
Check on a long export, grab a file, or fix something quickly from a phone, over Wi-Fi or mobile data.
No account and no cloud service. The connection runs directly between your own devices.
What it does
Touch mode taps where you want to click; trackpad mode gives precise cursor control. Two-finger scroll with momentum, two-finger tap to right-click, and a magnifier while dragging.
Sticky ⌘ ⌥ ⌃ ⇧, Esc, Tab, arrows, and F-keys, one-tap Mac shortcuts, and full support for iPad keyboards, mice, and trackpads.
Pick one display and fill the screen with it, pinch to zoom, and swipe with three fingers for Spaces and Mission Control.
Find Macs on the same Wi-Fi automatically, or reach them from anywhere through Tailscale, with a guided setup for both.
Data saver uses about half the bandwidth, auto-reconnect recovers from drops, and idle sessions disconnect to save battery.
No accounts, servers, or analytics. Passwords stay in the device keychain, with an optional Face ID or fingerprint lock.
Every feature is free. The free version shows small non-personalised banner ads, never on top of your Mac’s screen. The planned Fairyring Pro subscription (US$2.99/year) removes them; the store checkout will confirm localized pricing.
Built around
Fairyring uses the Screen Sharing already built into macOS, so the Mac only needs one switch turned on.
It connects straight to the Mac you add. There are no Fairyring servers, so there is no middleman to trust.
Remote access is guided through Tailscale or a VPN, with a clear warning never to open Screen Sharing to the internet.
