Trekspell Terms of Use

1. Planning responsibly

Trekspell helps you organize gear and packing information. It is not a substitute for training, judgment, official route and weather information, emergency preparation, or physically checking essential equipment before travel.

Weights, capacities, recommendations, packing state, missing-item notices, and statistics depend on the information you enter and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You remain responsible for every outdoor and travel decision.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your credentials, and activity under your account. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its security, access another person’s data, upload unlawful content, or use Trekspell in a way that harms people, systems, or providers.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of gear records, trip details, reviews, and images you submit. You grant SilentGrove a limited worldwide license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve Trekspell. You must have the rights needed to submit it.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Core inventory, backpacks, trips, packing, and guest mode remain free. Free allows 1 photo per item; Premium removes eligible ads and allows up to 3 photos per item. No separate total cloud-storage allowance is currently imposed. Existing photos remain when Premium ends, but new additions above the Free limit are blocked.

The planned paid offer is a yearly auto-renewing Premium subscription targeting US$2.99 per year, subject to localized store pricing. Paid availability is still in preparation. Where offered, Google Play or Apple checkout displays the actual price, billing period, and renewal terms before confirmation. Subscriptions renew until cancelled through the purchasing store account; store rules and applicable law govern cancellation and refunds.

Premium requires sign-in and a verified entitlement. Restore using the purchasing store account while signed into the Trekspell account linked to that purchase. Free core features remain available after Premium expires. Deleting an account or uninstalling Trekspell does not cancel a store subscription.

A proposed 50% discount for an active RevelKeep subscription is not yet available. Cross-app account linking and eligibility verification must be in place before any such offer is introduced; no discount or future benefit is promised unless explicitly shown at checkout.

5. Guest data, availability, and ending use

Guest-mode data is local to your device unless you choose a supported account or sync flow. Keep exports of information you cannot afford to lose. Features may be updated, suspended, or discontinued, and access may be restricted when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.

You may stop using Trekspell or delete your account at any time. Access may be suspended or terminated for material breach, unlawful use, or serious security risk.

6. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Trekspell is provided as is and as available without implied warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
