Delete Battleship Data

Remove offline matches, recovery copies, and app preferences from your device. Deleting local data does not delete your online Battleship account.

Updated October 26, 2026

Delete local data on Android

  1. Close Battleship.
  2. Open your device Settings → Apps → Battleship → Storage.
  3. Choose Clear storage or Clear data and confirm. Clearing only the cache does not remove saved matches.

This removes offline matches, recovery copies, and app preferences. Local progress cannot be recovered without a retained copy.

Delete local data on iOS

  1. Open Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Battleship.
  2. Choose Delete App and confirm. Offload App keeps local documents and data.

Backups and online data

Separately remove any copies you exported or backed up yourself. Clearing local data does not remove online account data, retained match records, or store purchase history.

To delete your online account, use the separate Delete account link in these project resources. Deleting local data does not request a refund or delete your Apple or Google account.
